Join Joshua Aronson, MD, Rebecca Thompson, MD and Carissa Thurston, RN, CNRN, Neurosurgery Clinic Nurse to learn about Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). DBS is a surgical treatment to reduce tremors and block involuntary movements in patients with movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease or Essential Tremors.

At this presentation you will:

  • Learn how DBS works— its benefits and challenges
  • Find out if you are a good candidate for DBS
  • Get an overview of the surgical evaluation and procedure, as well as recovery & healing
