Hospital Days Parade

The New London Hospital Days Committee is proud to announce the 2023 New London Hospital Days Parade on August 5, 2023 at 10:00AM!
This year’s parade theme: A Storybook Celebration, was inspired by New London’s very own literary legend, Tomie dePaola, who wrote and/or illustrated over 270 books. Celebrations of books and storytelling serve as a reminder that literacy, reading, writing, illustration and your imagination are a form of glue that binds us all together.
Recruit your friends, family or co-workers to join you and enter a float (which can be as simple as a decorated pick-up truck), saddle a horse, decorate your bicycle, dress up in an interesting costume, show off your musical talent, get together to walk, polish that antique automobile…do anything to join the fun.
