Employee Assistance Program Workshop Series – “Mindfulness and Compassion for Stress and Burnout: ‘Infusing’ Practices into a Busy Life”

Facilitated by Shiri Macri, Licensed Mental Health Clinician, EAP

D-H employees who would like to reduce and/or prevent stress and burnout are invited to register today.

There is increasing evidence to support the positive effect that mindfulness and compassion can have an effect on stress and burnout. In addition, these practices can help prevent and manage a variety of physical and/or emotional conditions. Please join Shiri in her four-week series to explore these practices; being offered virtually in August.

Goals of the series include:
• Infusing these practices in daily living.
• Gaining a deeper understanding of how the practices relate to healthy behaviors.
• Developing skills and strategies.
• Completion of short home practices.

A workbook which will include links to specific short meditations for home practice will be provided as part of the series.

Virtual Series:

Wednesdays, August 11 through September 8, 8:05 am to 8:55 am, WebEx shared after registration.

NOTE:  There is no class on Wednesday, August 25th.
