Nurse Assistants (NAs) are a vital part of the patient care team. Working directly with nurses, doctors and other medical professionals, NAs provide compassionate patient care through a variety of tasks including taking vitals, assisting in activities-of-daily-living, ambulating and positioning patients.

The NA training program at River Valley Community College is part-time, 7 weeks long, and consists of online and classroom instruction, skills labs, and clinical training. At the end of the program, students sit for the NH State Competency Exam.

Individuals selected for the program will have their tuition/exam fees sponsored by Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health, and will be hired into a full-time role in one of the inpatient units at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH or Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH.

To learn more, we invite you to join this virtual information session, the Lebanon Program.
