VIRTUAL – Awesome Aging…? Supportive “listening” group

Tuesday afternoons 1:30-3 pm, January 10, 17, 24, 31 and February 7, 14, 21, 28, 2023

“The Golden Years” … are you kidding? What about the challenges that make “easy street” a pipe dream? (health, relationships, loneliness, uselessness, technology, inflation, etc.) How much can we control? Can we do anything about what can’t be controlled?

Join this eight-week supportive “listening group” to explore your feelings and views on these and other issues. Open your mind and heart to the possibilities within and despite challenges. Give thoughtful consideration to making aging AWESOME … even joyful … no matter what comes along!

This is an eight-week program.  When you sign up for the first class on January 10th, you are registered for the entire series.  We ask that you try to attend the full series to create a safe space for everyone to share personal stories.

Jeanne Childs worked for many years at the D-H Aging Resource Center. Though retired, she maintains her certification and volunteers in the community.

This group will be also be offered IN PERSON at Bugbee Senior Center in White River Junction, VT, on Thursday mornings, 10-11:30 am, January 26 – March 16, 2023.
