Designed to empower care partners to address issues and concerns associated with caregiving for someone with dementia, this educational series will cover a different topic each month. The sessions will provide an opportunity for caregivers to learn from and converse with experts in the field.

April Meeting Topic: Hospice and Palliative care

Speaker: Daniel Stadler, MD

Caregivers of those with dementia are often overwhelmed with all of the decisions to be made and the choices to consider. During this workshop, our Presenter, Dr. Daniel Stadler will tackle the topics of Hospice and Palliative care – when they are needed and what the difference is between the two. He will also explain the use and need of a POLST/COLST form.
