Leader: Kim Wenger Hall
Join DHMC’s Visual Artist Kim Wenger Hall for these informal virtual drawing classes. No experience required – just eagerness to have fun and get creative!
Most of us were never really taught how to draw the human form, let alone how to capture someone’s face in our drawings. So, with some skill-building and practice, you’ll get a handle on how to “see” a person, how to utilize some classic drawing techniques, then by the end of our session, how to create draw a self-portrait that you’ll feel proud of.
Supplies you’ll need:
Sketch paper (like printer paper)
Large drawing paper
Pencils – drawing pencils are great – a range from soft/black to hard/gray
Later: drawing media of choice: pastels, charcoal, colored pencils
Ruler or straight edge
Eraser (soft erasers are great)
