  • Tuesday, September 10, 2024
  • 9:00 am to 10:30 am

Virtual event

This is a virtual event. If you have questions about how to connect to the event, please contact the event host.

Leader: Jeanne Childs

Classes are held on Tuesdays, from September 10 to October 29
If you sign up for September 10, you are registered for all sessions.

In this eight-week program, you will learn how your thoughts actually can have a negative impact on your immunity, energy, overall health, and ability to cope. With equal measures of humor and wisdom, we will try strategies to attune with our marvelous bodies, minds and spirits and release ourselves from self-defeating habits. We can learn to sync our choices with our body’s chemistry so mind and body work together. The body’s system is “rigged” to work in our favor, increasing health and happiness! Believe it!

This popular class has helped many people become aware of self-defeating attitudes, mindsets, and communication patterns which make them unhappy. But there is hope! As we broaden our awareness, we will learn new skills and habits to create more effective, positive, and satisfying relationships … both with ourselves and others!

Please Note:

This course covers a lot of material. It is highly interactive and skill building. Each session builds on what was covered in previous sessions.  To make the program most beneficial and allow people to share stories in a safe environment, we encourage you to plan on attending each class faithfully.

The group works best when everyone is prepared and focused.  Here are some important ways to prepare for the class:

  • Review and become familiar with the Class syllabus before the first class.
  • Keep your mind open and stay present with the group – avoid distractions
  • We want to feel like a group, so please keep your video on during each class.
  • Please plan to study the material and do the assigned homework before each class,

Finally, knowing how to operate your computer and participate in an online ZOOM class will make participating easier and the class will run smoother. Please call the ARC prior to the first session if you need technical coaching.
