Presented by Philip Adamo, MD, MPH, CIME, FACOEM, CPE
This is a CME/CNE accredited program, which will be hosted via Webex.
Dr. Adamo will take us through the challenges in the workplace that can impact our well-being and our ability to perform our work efficiently and safely. This includes drug and alcohol dependence, depression and burnout. He will present evidence-based studies and will lead us to the conclusion that all is not hopeless by providing ways to address both individual support systems and proposals for institutional cultural changes.
Learning outcome
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to identify challenges in the workplace that affect well-being in order to design a personal wellness plan with at least two self-care strategies that can prevent burnout in persons at risk.
